Ce'Nadra Lorquet
Director/ Lead Teacher
Ce'Nadra graduated from Old Dominion University in 2020 where she obtained her B.S. followed by her M.S. in Elementary Education shortly after. She has over 12 years experience teaching and working with children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities from birth all the way through adulthood. It has always been a passion of hers to open her own school! As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic unexpectedly changing the classroom setting, Ce'Nadra resigned from her employment with Norfolk Public Schools and opened up her own home to teach a small group of preschool & school-aged children, which later progressed to The School House Preschool & Daycare in 2021! To further her involvement in the community, she joined the YMCA family and took on a task serving as one of their Before & After School Site Directors. In 2024, a dedicated and determined Cenadra took on yet another task, launching the start of her new business venture, "The School House KidZone, Making Memories One Event At A Time", offering on-site childcare for special events.
Ce'Nadra is beyond committed and dedicated to helping children explore, learn, and thrive in any environment. Nothing brings her more happiness than seeing the excitement and evolution of the children in her care.
